LINBO - Linux Based Network Bootconsole

LINBO is a semi- or fully automatic operating (depending on configuration) boot manager, that is not only able to boot various operating systems from disk, but which has also features for maintenance, update and repair of hard disk installations. From the boot loader (grub from local disk or network PXE/TFTP server), kernel and initial RAM file system are loaded and started. After a - usually quite short - starttime, a graphical interface is presented with choices, while in parallel, hardware detection of network cards and hard drives is running. After you select different button actions, a worker backend script handles the selected task. The system is open source and easily extensible.
